This is the about CryptoPropFirms page: who runs the site, what we cover and why it exists. CryptoPropFirms is an independent research site focused only on crypto prop firms. We read each firm's rules pages, terms and FAQs, record the date we read them, and keep a log whenever something changes, so you can see the true price of a challenge and the conditions for a payout before you spend anything.

Why we built CryptoPropFirms
Directory and listing sites rarely hold their entries up against the firms' own documents, and traders pay for the gap. A few things we found while building our records show how wide it is:
- An aggregator placed a firm in its crypto category even though that firm's FAQ says it offers no crypto at all. We list it as checked and excluded.
- HyroTrader dropped its mandatory stop-loss rule, yet weeks later several reviews were still telling readers it applied. We logged the change with its date.
- Firms stopped operating while directories kept showing them as open. When a firm goes dark, we note when its site last loaded and why we think it stopped.
Our site is a set of checked, dated values first and a collection of articles second. Every page reads from the same records.
Who runs CryptoPropFirms
A few traders founded the site, each with over eight years of trading equities, indices and digital assets. We built it after spending too long working out which funding firms deserved trust, and we want to shorten that search for everyone else, whether you are new or experienced.
Content is published under two desk bylines rather than invented personas. The Research Desk writes reviews and guides; the Risk Desk fact-checks every rule and number. Their roles are described on our author and editor profiles page.
We do not sell signals, courses or trading advice, and we do not accept paid placements.

We earn a commission when you buy through affiliate links with some of the firms we track, and we publish only our own discount codes. Commission has no effect on any figure, score or ranking order. The full rules are on our affiliate disclosure, and the scoring is explained in our methodology.
