On-Chain Crypto Prop Firms: Hyperliquid and Verifiable Payouts
"On-chain" means three different things at prop firms. We sort the routing, the payouts and the pure branding.
Hyperliquid perps from $25, no consistency rule, and 80% paid in USDC on chain with a public hash
Cheap one-phase crypto challenges with no consistency rule, but a tight static floor and no payout ledger
Short rulebook, static floors and daily USDC payouts, but unverifiable contracts and a $25K ceiling
Telegram-first firm with on-chain USDT payouts, but per-period payout caps and KYC its FAQ denies
Propr is the most on-chain of the on-chain crypto prop firms we track: it can route individual trades to Hyperliquid and pays USDC on chain. HyperPNL is the fastest payer, sending USDC through a smart contract in a stated three seconds, and Velotrade is the easiest to verify, with an Arbiscan link for every payout. Five of 27 active firms qualify in some sense, but the word covers three very different products, and one firm uses it mainly as marketing.
What makes a prop firm on-chain
A prop firm is on-chain when part of what it does leaves a public blockchain record that you can check yourself. In practice that happens in one of three ways:
| Meaning | What is on chain | Firms | What you can verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trading | Orders can route to a DEX | Propr (per trade, labelled) | The trade itself on Hyperliquid |
| Payouts | USDC/USDT sent from a wallet or contract | HyperPNL, Velotrade, Upscale, Propr | The transfer by hash |
| Branding | Nothing verifiable | SizeProp | Nothing; terms say all trading is simulated |
E8 Markets is a special case: it prices its Perpetual accounts from Hyperliquid, but pays through Rise, bank or Aeropay, so nothing about a payout touches a chain.
An on-chain payout proves money moved. It does not prove the funded account traded real capital.
That distinction matters. Velotrade's terms still describe funded accounts as simulated, and Propr labels each trade A-book (routed to Hyperliquid) or B-book (an internal entry with no chain record). Independent payout trackers make the same point: a verified transfer rates neither the firm nor its rules. Our page on simulated vs real capital goes deeper.
On-chain crypto prop firms, one by one
Propr
Propr Limited (BVI) runs perpetuals across crypto and other assets on Hyperliquid and chooses per trade whether to route it on chain, labelling each. Its transparency dashboard showed a 16.3% pass rate and $2.23 million paid on 29 September 2026, by its own figures. Entry is $25 for a $5,000 Turbo 1-Step, and payouts are USDC on demand from $20. The catches: the 2-Step floor trails an 8% maximum from the equity high, and each payout sweeps your full profit. See the Propr review.
HyperPNL
Hyperpnl Ltd. (Cayman Islands) fills orders off chain against Hyperliquid's live book, then pays USDC through a smart contract from a public reserve. You can request one payout a day from the first funded day, with a 1% minimum. It starts at $42 for $5,000 but tops out at $25,000, excludes US and Canadian residents, and allows one evaluation at a time. Read the HyperPNL review.
Velotrade
Velotrade Re Limited (Hong Kong) pays USDC or USDT on Arbitrum weekly, from $100, and lists every payout with an Arbiscan link. The first payout waits 14 days after your first funded trade plus five qualifying days, the account is halted during each review, and crypto positions open at 00:30 UTC pay 0.05% daily funding. Entry is $40. Full details in the Velotrade review.
Upscale
Upscale pays USDT on TON, Base or BSC with a $1 minimum and shows receiving wallets in a public feed. Requests are limited to one per 14 days, capped at 50% of a $5,000 account and falling to 15% at $200,000. Its homepage says "no KYC", but its terms of 15 May 2026 require a passport and selfie before withdrawal and exclude US residents. See the Upscale review.
SizeProp
SizeProp markets itself to perp traders on Hyperliquid prices, but its terms state all activity is simulated and no trade reaches a live market. Its USDT payouts carry no published transaction record. It is a fine product on rules (a static floor unaffected by payouts), but "on-chain" here is branding.
How to check an on-chain claim
- Identify which meaning applies: routing, payouts or neither.
- Open one payout on the explorer and confirm sender, amount and time.
- If the firm routes trades, ask whether routing is per trade and whether it is labelled.
- Check the payout network and its fees against your wallet.
- Read the KYC timing. On-chain does not mean anonymous: Propr asks for ID and a live selfie before funding.
- Read the country list. HyperPNL and Upscale exclude US residents.
Trade-offs
The firms with the deepest chain footprint are also young: Propr and HyperPNL both launched in 2026. Velotrade offers the clearest proof but the slowest first payout. If verifiable payouts are your main concern, also look at HyroTrader, which is not on-chain in trading but publishes Solana transaction IDs for a sample of payouts. Frequently asked questions
Do on-chain prop firms trade real money?
Not necessarily. Propr routes some trades to Hyperliquid by choice, but most firms, Velotrade included, describe funded accounts as simulated. An on-chain payout proves the transfer only.
Which on-chain prop firm pays fastest?
HyperPNL states payouts by smart contract in under three seconds, though its terms do not guarantee timing.
Is SizeProp an on-chain prop firm?
Only in branding. Its terms say all trading is simulated and its USDT payouts have no published transaction record.
Can US traders use on-chain prop firms?
HyperPNL and Upscale exclude US residents. Propr, SizeProp and Velotrade do not list the United States as restricted.
