This page is our running record of crypto prop firm rule changes, newest first. Each entry gives the date we saw it, the firm, what moved and whether the firm itself changed something or we fixed our own record. October 2026 is on this page; earlier entries, back to our first full check on 29 September 2026, live in the September 2026 archive.
A firm page on CryptoPropFirms is only as reliable as the date beside each value. When a target, drawdown, price or payout term shifts, it lands here first and then flows into the firm reviews, the rules hub and the side-by-side comparisons.
If you already hold an account, read the entries marked Firm change first. Most firms do not say whether a new rule reaches accounts bought before it, so check your own dashboard and terms before you trade on an assumption.
How to read this log
Every entry carries one of three labels:
- Firm change: the firm altered a rule, price, model, payout term, access condition or its own status.
- Correction: the firm's page did not change, but our earlier record was wrong or incomplete, and we have fixed it.
- Addition: a field we had left blank now has its first value. Like a correction, nothing at the firm moved.
Entries are grouped by the date we logged them. Where the firm gave its own effective date, that date appears in the text. Bigger events, such as the HyroTrader relaunch, are grouped under one heading so the full picture is in one place.

27 October 2026
- Dolvero, firm change: Dolvero pulled back its 15 September 2026 changelog note that had put crypto accounts under the weekend rule. Crypto accounts may hold over the weekend; the weekend rule covers CFD accounts only. Earlier the same day we had flagged the clash between its pages and asked the firm which applied.
- Dolvero, firm change: under terms version 2.1 the ban on trading within 30 minutes of high-impact news now covers CFD accounts only. The crypto rulebook, the crypto page and terms §6.1 all agree that crypto accounts trade news freely.
- Dolvero, correction: payouts run every 14 days. Crypto accounts are paid in USDT over TRC20, ERC20 or BEP20 with only network fees; bank wire, Wise, Rise and PayPal belong to the CFD side. By the firm's own count, 292 published payouts averaged 2.1 hours between request and dispatch (figure as of 24 October 2026).
- Dolvero, correction: the 2025 founding year is now firm-stated (its legal notice gives a platform launch of 30 November 2025). US residents are not excluded: the terms bar only sanctioned jurisdictions and listed persons, although the footer warns that some programmes are restricted by location.
- Upscale, firm change (around 21 October 2026): each payout is now also limited to whatever profit sits above the starting balance, on top of the existing per-period cap that runs from 50% of size on $5,000 down to 15% on $200,000.
- Upscale, correction: the API Trading option is currently free, starts at the $10,000 size, cannot be switched off once enabled, and brings in the 30% rule plus a 60-second profit adjustment.
- TradeXProp, correction: copying trades is only allowed between accounts you own. Signal services, group trading, account-passing services, mirroring another trader and EAs built for copying are all banned.
- The5ers, firm change: on the Summer Plan 2-step, the FAQ now says the final 70% of the fee, returned at the third profit payout, comes as hub credits. The refund box on the same page still describes it as a cash withdrawal, so the two disagree.
- The5ers, correction: the terms name two operating companies, UK company 12553363 in London and Israeli company 515864007 in Ra'anana. Only the Israeli company appears in the footer.
- SizeProp, firm change: rules revised on 19 October 2026 swap the 1-Step for Speedrun, a one-phase test with a 6.5% target, 2% daily limit and 3.5% maximum loss, priced $50 to $777. It sits next to Degen.
- SizeProp, firm change: Degen list prices fell by roughly 10%, from $36 to $32 at the $5,000 size; the range is now $32 to $921.
- SizeProp, firm change: the 90% ($350) and 95% ($450) split add-ons are gone. Checkout shows a flat 80% on both models, even though up to 95% is still advertised on the homepage and in a help article.
- RebelsFunding, correction: there is no minimum day count. Instead each evaluation phase needs a set number of real trades: 4 on Copper, 5 on Bronze, 6 on Silver, 8 on Gold and 5 on Diamond Level 0, with none on RCF Levels 1 to 8. Paid-evaluation trades must stay open at least 30 seconds, RCF trades at least 60.
- RebelsFunding, correction: Diamond has no daily drawdown on Level 0 or any RCF level. Profit targets by tier: Copper 5% in each of four phases, Bronze 5% in each of three, Silver 8% then 5%, Gold 10% in one phase, Diamond 10% on Level 0 and every RCF level.
- PropW, firm change: the margin cap per position in the One-Step and Two-Step evaluations went up from 15,000 to 50,000 USDT on BTC and ETH, and from 5,000 to 20,000 USDT on other pairs. Total margin stays capped at 200,000 USDT.
- PropW, correction: the funded (Phase 3) list has 71 pairs, not about 30. The evaluation table lists 49 and HourTrader 27, and ZEC, HYPE, ENA and NEAR are due to join the evaluation list from 27 October 2026.
- Mubite, firm change: terms dated 20 October 2026 set the lifetime withdrawal cap on free accounts (giveaways, promotions, competitions, BOGO bonuses) as the payout-cap percentage multiplied by the split, which is $2,000 on a $50,000 account at 80%. The FAQ still quotes 5%, or $2,500.
- Mubite, firm change: the Funded Score now gives Nitro accounts a 20% single-day ceiling, beside 25% on Instant Funding, 30% on One-Step and 40% on Two-Step.
- Mubite, firm change: Nitro payouts are capped in steps, 2.5% of size on the first payout rising through 3%, 3.5%, 4% and 4.5% to 5%, with no cap from the seventh payout. Each Nitro cycle also needs five profitable days of at least 0.5%. The rules page now shows a $35 minimum on One-Step, Two-Step and Instant, against $50 on Nitro; the FAQs still say $50 across the board.
- Mubite, firm change: the terms now name only Mubite s.r.o. in Prague, with Commercial Register file C 423495, matching the footer.
- Mubite, correction: Instant Funding accounts have tighter funded position limits than the evaluation models (1x the initial balance per trade and 2x cumulative, against 2x and 3x) and no daily drawdown.
- Klein Funding, correction: the 2024 founding date is now confirmed on the firm's own About page and homepage. EAs, bots and copy trading are all banned, even across your own accounts, and the trader links a Bybit demo-trading sub-account with a read-write API key.
- Goat Funded Trader, correction: news trading is allowed on every model, but if a trade is opened or closed within five minutes of a high-impact release, its profit counts only up to 1% of the starting balance. The excess is removed; the account is not breached.
- Goat Funded Trader, firm change: a fixed-price $99 2-Step Promo 100K launched on 19 October 2026 and Instant DAILY (daily payouts on a 30-day account) on 26 October; Goat Blitz was withdrawn on 26 October.
- FundingPips, firm change (21 October 2026): every evaluation model can now take a 100% split on the on-demand cycle, provided the trader meets a 35% consistency score and seven profitable days of 0.5% or more. The separate monthly 100% cycle has been dropped, and weekly and bi-weekly cycles carry no consistency score. Splits by cycle: 2 Step Standard 60% weekly or 80% bi-weekly; 2 Step Pro 80% weekly; 2 Step Flex 80% or 95% bi-weekly, picked at purchase; 1 Step Flex 80% bi-weekly; Zero 95% bi-weekly.
- FundingPips, firm change: smaller 2-Step sizes got cheaper. 2 Step Standard now costs $39, $72 and $195 at $5,000, $10,000 and $25,000 (was $44, $80 and $216); 2 Step Flex is $35, $64 and $175; 2 Step Pro is $29, $55 and $145. Larger sizes did not move.
- FundingPips, correction: minimum days differ by model. 2 Step Standard needs three per phase (none if you take the 3% daily option); 2 Step Flex needs one per phase on the 80% split or three profitable days of 0.5% on the 95% split; there is no minimum on 1 Step Flex or 2 Step Pro.
- FundingPips, correction: the news restriction applies only on funded Master accounts, where profit from trades opened or closed in the five minutes either side of high-impact news is removed (trades opened at least five hours earlier are exempt). On Zero, the window is ten minutes and breaking it ends the account.
- FundingPips, correction: the crypto offer is just BTCUSD and ETHUSD at 1:2 in evaluation and 1:1 on Swing, Swap-Free and every Master account, with a 0.04% commission. You can hold over weekends during evaluation; on Master accounts positions are closed automatically unless you bought the Swing add-on, and Zero does not allow it.
- FTMO, firm change (per an FAQ revision of 11 October 2026): on Standard-type funded and Instant accounts, positions must be flat before any market break longer than two hours. The earlier instruction to be flat before the weekend has been dropped. Since FTMO's crypto CFDs only pause for 10 and 70 minutes at weekends, the rule rarely touches crypto. Evaluation and Swing accounts are unrestricted.
- E8 Markets, firm change: the configurator has dropped E8 Signature, leaving E8 One and E8 Pro. The help centre still describes Signature.
- Bitfunded, correction: card payments run through unnamed payment partners (checkout shows INR cards, other cards and crypto), not Stripe as we had recorded. USDT payment works on TRC-20, ERC-20 or BEP-20.
- Propr, firm change (sometime from 13 to 27 October 2026): the homepage configurator no longer offers a free trial, although the FAQ still describes a trial with no capital attached.
- Propr, firm change (same window): rulebook §17 adds a $200,000 total cap on evaluation accounts beside the $300,000 total for funded accounts.
- Propr, firm change (same window): the hedging ban now reaches other prop firms and correlated assets, for example long ETH in one account and short SOL in another. Hedging inside one account is still fine. The rulebook also bans shared households, devices or IPs, and strategies that could not be repeated in live markets.
- Propr, addition: the public changelog now lists the three daily-loss changes first reported by an outside outlet in September: v1.0.2 (23 April 2026) fixed the limit to starting balance, v1.0.4 (21 July 2026) used the higher of starting and day-start balance, and v1.0.5 (27 July 2026) moved to start-of-day balance.
- Propr, correction: position caps are $1,000,000 on BTC and ETH and on equities, commodities and FX; $150,000 on large-cap crypto with open interest above $100M; and 5% of open interest, between $50,000 and $100,000, on everything else. The market list is 160+ perpetuals, with any Hyperliquid perpetual above $1M open interest added automatically.
- BrightFunded, correction: the five-day minimum applies to the 1-Step as well as the 2-Step.
- BrightFunded, correction: news is unrestricted in evaluation. On funded accounts, trades opened or closed within five minutes either side of major news lose their profit, without breaching the account.
- BrightFunded, firm change: BrightFunded now also sells CME futures challenges under the BrightPlus and BrightCore names. The crypto CFD challenges are unchanged.
- Tradeify 247, firm change (21 October 2026): closed to new purchases. Existing accounts can keep trading and withdrawing. The brand is turning into Tradeify Perps, which is waitlist-only with no plans or prices, and tradeify247.co now redirects to tradeifyperps.co.
- Tradeify 247, firm change (22 October 2026): the free monthly competition, which handed out a $200,000 demo account, has ended. Its Live Program, which uses real capital with a 90% split and daily payouts, stays open to current members and to traders who qualify from a One Step Daily $50,000 account they already hold. A blown Live account is now final; the re-entry route is gone.
- HyroTrader, firm change (in place by 12 October 2026): scaling reviews can now be requested after a funded account gains 20% overall. Before, no threshold was published. The ceilings are unchanged at $400,000 in evaluations and $200,000 funded per person, and the 90% split remains discretionary (not on Zero-Step).
- Funded Trader Markets, firm change (15 October 2026): on 2-Step Plus and Instant Plus, the Shield Risk Protocol threshold is now 1% of the starting balance, and touching it counts, not just exceeding it. Every trigger flattens the account and lowers the trader's share one notch, from 50% to 40%, then 30%, and finally a permanent 20%.
- Funded Trader Markets, firm change (21 October 2026): Indonesia was taken off the restricted-country list.
- Funded Trader Markets, firm change: 1-Step Infinity, a limited Launchpad offer sold until 30 October 2026, costs $19 to $119 for $5,000 to $40,000, with a 9% target, 3% daily loss and 3% static maximum loss.
- Funded Trader Markets, correction: the About page names Formed Technologies INT FZCO, registered in Dubai Silicon Oasis under number 36580. FTM Funded Trader Markets LTD in Cyprus (HE462185) owns the site, collects payments and is the contracting party in the Terms; Funded Trader Markets LTD in Saint Lucia (2025-00239) holds the MT5 licence.
- Funded Trader Markets, correction: you can get your money back within 14 days provided you have not traded. After the first trade the fee is kept, though the firm adds a 100% performance bonus to the third reward, except on Instant Funding.
- Crypto Fund Trader, correction: the "Proof of Scholarship Reserves" page now quotes a $1,759,337.11 educational incentive reserve, updated daily, but gives no wallet, bank detail or outside attestation, so nothing on it can be checked.
- AquaFunded, firm change: two dedicated crypto challenges are now sold at checkout. Crypto 1 Step has a 10% target, 3% daily limit, a 6% overall loss limit, up to 1:5 leverage, fortnightly payouts and a split up to 100%, for $69 to $899 ($5,000 to $100,000). Crypto Instant has no target, 3% daily and 5% maximum loss, up to 1:5, for $99 to $999. cTrader adds $15. The crypto subdomain still says Coming Soon and no help article covers either product.
- AquaFunded, firm change: anyone buying 2-Step Elite from 22 October 2026 gets a 12% maximum loss instead of 10%. The funded stage also gains WaveStop: each time floating loss hits 1% the account takes a strike, halving the split to 50%, then dropping it to 25%, then breaching.
- AquaFunded, firm change: four forex price ladders went up, 1-Step Standard by about 7%, 1-Step Flex by about 8%, 2-Step Elite by 6% to 8% and 2-Step Standard by 5% to 28%. At $100,000, 1-Step Standard moved from $421.60 to $453.39 and 2-Step Standard from $375.20 to $472.98.
23 October 2026
- Mubite, firm change: Nitro launched, a one-phase challenge you pay for in two parts: $19.90 to start, then $81 to $641, scaled to account size, once you pass.
- Mubite, addition: Instant Funding now starts at $44 for a $625 account. This is a new entry size, not a rule change.
20 October 2026
- Tradeify 247, firm change: American Express and PayPal were dropped from the FAQ at some point from 14 to 20 October 2026. Payment is now Visa, Mastercard or crypto, which matches the pricing page.
- Tradeify 247, firm change: the add-ons page and FAQ now state there are no account resets at all.
- Tradeify 247, firm change: you may now scale out of a position in pieces across the 22:00 UTC reset; it still counts as a single trading day, and partial closes may not be used to pad the day count.
- Tradeify 247, firm change: help pages now promise processing within 24 hours under a payout guarantee, whatever the method. The old one-to-two business days wording has been removed.
- Tradeify 247, correction: every page now says 40 tokenized stocks and lists the tickers, ending the 30 versus 40 conflict we noted on 7 October.
- Tradeify 247, correction and addition: the brand we had listed as Tradeify Crypto with unknown status (its old site returned an error on 29 September) is active as Tradeify 247 under the same company, per terms last modified 13 August 2026. It joined our tracked list, taking active firms to 28.
14 October 2026
- Goat Funded Trader, addition: on instant models, consistency is the best day divided by total profit in the payout period, and failing it blocks the payout rather than breaching the account.
- The5ers, addition: Hyper Growth (1-step) starts at a 50% split on the $5,000 to $20,000 evaluation. The FAQ says 75% once funded, while the plan table shows 50% for funded $10,000 to $20,000 accounts.
- The5ers, addition: Bootcamp drawdown is static, with the stop-out fixed at the initial balance minus 5%. The type on the funded 4% stage is not stated.
- AquaFunded, addition: Instant Pro carries a 6% trailing maximum loss and Instant Flex a 4% trailing one.
- FundingPips, addition: we filled in the core risk numbers. Daily loss: 2 Step Standard 3% or 5% (your pick at checkout), 2 Step Pro 3%, 2 Step Flex 4%, 1 Step Flex 2% or 3% (also your pick), Zero 3%. Maximum loss: Standard 10%, Pro 6%, Flex 12%, 1 Step Flex 12%, Zero 5% trailing. The 2-Step models are static, 1 Step Flex sits a fixed 12% below the starting balance, and Zero trails from peak equity until it locks at breakeven once 5% up. The daily reset is 21:00 UTC (midnight platform time). Splits start at 80% on evaluation models and 95% on Zero, with 100% the top.
13 October 2026
- FTMO, firm change: the FTMO Instant Account launched with no evaluation, priced from €169 for $5,000 to €2,999 for $100,000. Rules: 3% daily, a 10% overall limit that trails intraday, a 90% split, and a 30% consistency rule that restarts after each reward and never breaches the account.
- FTMO, firm change: the 1-Step consistency cap is now published. From 09:00 GMT+3 on 12 October 2026, new orders must keep the best day at or below half of total profit, with losing days counted. Older orders stay on the old Best Day Rule, and neither version can breach the account; you keep trading until it is met. See our consistency rule guide.
- HyroTrader, firm change: HyroTrader's homepage and onboarding guide now quote 150x on BTC and ETH for Bybit accounts; its platforms FAQ has not caught up and still quotes 100x.
- PropW, correction: the consistency ratio is 40% on One-Step and 45% on Two-Step, per the withdrawal rules and packages table. The rulebook's single 45% figure is logged as a contradiction.
- PropW, firm change: your first successful profit withdrawal now returns the whole challenge fee, according to the withdrawal rules. The user agreement has not been updated and still describes the fee as non-refundable when paid. The minimum withdrawal is now 1 USDT (the text had said 100), total withdrawals are unlimited, and each request is capped at the profit-target amount.
- Fundedbit, firm change: Fast Track now has a full price, $5 upfront plus a $59 to $549 activation fee after passing, and its own rules: a 5% target, a 3% daily limit, a 6% trailing loss that locks, a 20% best-day rule once funded and a 100% split. We list it again.
- Fundedbit, firm change: on the 1-Step, the trailing floor now freezes when the balance climbs 6% (the size of the loss allowance) above where it started. Only the programs page says so; help articles describe the trailing alone.
- The5ers, correction: the Summer Plan 2-step returns 10% of the fee in hub credit once Step 1 is passed, another 20% after Step 2, and the last 70% in cash at the third payout. How much the Summer 1-step returns is not published.
- The5ers, firm change: the new $200,000 Summer 2-step accounts carry a $3,000 payout cap per cycle; the $2,000 cap stays on $100,000 Summer accounts, with a $250 minimum on both.
- RebelsFunding, correction: US residents may be accepted, but only for the simulated evaluation where local law allows and after KYC and AML checks (Terms 1.10).
- Mubite, correction: KYC happens after you pass and before the funded account opens (ID and proof of address; business verification for companies), and must be complete before any payout.
- Mubite, correction: the 2-Step fee comes back in full with the first funded profit split, not at funding. 1-Step and Instant fees are not refunded. Any fee can be refunded within seven days if no trade was placed.
- Mubite, addition: the payout FAQ lists Mubite Points, bank transfer or USDC on Ethereum, a $50 minimum, 24 to 48 hour processing, and a cap of 5% of account size per request with the excess rolling over. Instant accounts wait 14 days from the first trade and need a 5% profit milestone first.
- HyperPNL, addition: no standard KYC is needed for payouts at present, though the firm says it may add identity checks.
- Goat Funded Trader, firm change: on funded accounts purchased on or after 8 October 2026, a payout request needs the cycle's largest win to be at least as big as its largest loss. It is a payout condition, not a breach. We also corrected our note that Goat had no consistency rule: the instant models already used 15% to 20%.
- Goat Funded Trader, correction: instant models trail. Instant GOAT 6%, Instant HERO 5%, Instant Premium 6% intraday, Instant PRO 4% and Goat Stride 5%.
- Dolvero, correction: on the crypto side you trade in your own Bybit Demo account, which Dolvero reads through a read-only API key. WebTrader is only for its CFD accounts.
- Dolvero, addition: KYC is done by an outside compliance service before the first payout, not when you buy or start.
- Dolvero, firm change: terms v2.1, in force from 2 October 2026, give EU consumers 14 days to withdraw: everything back if no demo trade has been placed, pro-rata after (one fourteenth of the fee kept per day). Separately, the fee still comes back in full alongside the second payout; breached accounts get nothing back.
- Cointracts, firm change: refund terms moved into section 10 of the Terms, last modified on 7 October 2026. On request, the amount you actually paid is returned in cash to your payout wallet: on 2-Step once a first funded payout has been paid, on 1-Step not until three payout cycles have been paid. The former refund page is now a 404.
- Cointracts, firm change: the homepage dropped the 14-trading-day wait and now says you can request a payout whenever you like once funded, provided you meet the FAQ conditions: at least $100 eligible profit, all positions closed and a Profit Day Ratio under 50%. Requests can then come every 24 hours, paid in USDT on TRC-20, usually within three business days and at most seven.
- BrightFunded, correction: the 8% maximum and 4% daily limits belong to 2-Step Bright. 2-Step Classic has a 10% static maximum and a 5% daily limit.
11 October 2026
- SizeProp, firm change: the $200,000 Degen size went on sale at $1,020 with the same rules as smaller Degen accounts (8% target, 2% daily, 3% maximum). At that point the $200,000 1-Step was still marked coming soon; Speedrun later replaced the 1-Step altogether.
8 October 2026: the HyroTrader relaunch
HyroTrader's new terms, dated 29 September 2026, rebuilt the programme. Everything below is a firm change unless marked otherwise. For context on how it now stacks up, see HyroTrader vs Breakout.
- New model: Zero-Step, a one-day evaluation with a 10% target, a 3% daily limit, a 5% overall limit, an 80% split that never changes, and a fee you do not get back, from $89 ($89, $169, $379, $629 and $949 for $5,000 to $100,000). One-Step and Two-Step prices did not change; every product now shows a struck-through price 10% higher.
- Drawdown: the daily limit is now static, measured from equity at 00:00 UTC as a fixed share of the initial balance: 3% Zero-Step, 4% One-Step, 5% Two-Step, the same in the funded stage. The maximum loss is a static equity floor at 95%, 94% or 90% of the starting allocation. The paid Swing upgrade is gone. Our daily drawdown explainer covers the difference.
- Daily reset: 00:00 UTC, published for the first time.
- Profit target: 10% on Zero-Step and One-Step; 10% then 5% on Two-Step. Only closed trades count.
- Minimum days: one on Zero-Step, five on One-Step, five per phase on Two-Step, none once funded.
- Consistency: on One-Step and Two-Step evaluations no single day may supply more than 40% of the profit target (it was 40% of the net result). On Zero-Step no single trade may supply more than 50% of the target. Profit over the cap remains in the balance yet is ignored for the target; it is not a breach. Funded accounts have no consistency rule.
- Per-trade loss cap: the 3% cap per position was removed, and its help page now returns a 404.
- Funded exposure: on all three models, total margin may not exceed 25% of the initial balance and total notional may not exceed 2x. The first breach brings a formal warning; the next fails the funded stage.
- Payouts: a valid request is paid inside 24 hours, weekends too, on demand with no cycle. Minimum $100 after the split. Each request is capped at 5% of the initial balance; profit above that is not paid and disappears when the account resets after the payout. No withdrawal fees; positions must be flat and KYC done.
- Split: fixed 80% on Zero-Step; 80% on One-Step and Two-Step, rising to 90% only at the firm's discretion.
- Real capital: there is no longer any real-capital stage. The funded stage is the last one and it is simulated.
- Execution: simulated in every phase. Bybit and BloFin orders go to your own exchange demo account; Hyro platform orders fill in HyroTrader's engine on live Bybit data. The phrase "real market execution" has been dropped.
- Fee refund: One-Step and Two-Step fees become a refundable deposit returned beside the first payout. Zero-Step fees are not refundable once activated. Any challenge cancelled before activation is refunded within 14 days.
- Platforms and leverage: Cleo is closed to new purchases (old Cleo challenges run on a legacy site). BloFin is new, with BTC and ETH leverage reaching 150x, and the in-house Hyro platform offers 100x or more depending on the pair. Tealstreet and Tiger.com terminals are listed, not for US traders. Bybit and Hyro offer 700+ pairs, BloFin 80+.
- Banned: options, spot, COIN-M futures and USDC-margined perpetuals; the EUR/USD pair; martingale; hedging across accounts; more than 5% of the initial balance in low-cap coins; asking for extra demo funds or editing the API key; copy trading, mirroring and outside signals; Bybit Portfolio Margin mode; news-only strategies.
- Corrections: founded in 2023, not 2022. The Hyro platform has built-in TradingView charts. Only Solana payouts are published with transaction links; the transparency page reports $8,897,496 paid since 2023, 99.6% approved, 98.7% within 24 hours and an average of 10 hours 41 minutes.
8 October 2026: other firms
- FTMO, firm change: a notice dated 8 October 2026 said a consistency rule would take over from the 1-Step Best Day Rule for orders from 12 October 2026, 09:00 (GMT+3), measured against total profit including losing days. The cap followed on 13 October.
- Kraken Prop, firm change: all 1,500 Lite accounts ($50,000 for $139) have been sold, leaving the standard ladder.
- Goat Funded Trader, firm change: the restricted list grew from 27 to 32 countries (new entries: Ukraine, Bolivia, Bosnia, Laos and Papua New Guinea; none removed), per the help centre update of 1 October 2026.
- FundingPips, firm change: the free trial page now says it carries no right to profit and cannot lead to a Master Account.
- Crypto Fund Trader, corrections: Bybit accounts and the bigger MT5 and Match-Trader accounts get 1:100, while crypto elsewhere is 1:5. Break accounts carry an activation fee after passing ($138, $198 or $328), so full prices are $208, $337 and $527 for $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000. The 1-Phase target is 10%. The 1-Phase range is $40 to $1,199 and the 2-Phase range $58 to $1,250 (we had the labels swapped).
- AquaFunded, correction: there is a yearly $1.2 million giveaway offering a chance at a $100,000 account. See our free crypto prop accounts list.
- Funded Trader Markets, correction: free accounts from giveaways and partnerships are always limited to an 80% split.
- Velotrade, correction: the free Sprint Trading game awards challenges to its best players, and these carry a reduced split and payout cap.
- Mubite, corrections: Instant starts at $79 for $1,250 and $120 for $2,500. US residents can join through Cleo but not Bybit. Accounts are simulated on live data (Bybit accounts on Bybit conditions, Cleo accounts on Binance data with modelled spreads and slippage). Maximum loss is static from the starting balance on 1-Step and 2-Step while the daily limit moves with equity; Instant uses 10% that locks 5% below equity once the account is 5% up.
7 October 2026
- HyroTrader, firm change: payout speed moved from within 12 hours to within 24 hours on every page. The first payout is now available once a funded account shows any profit, rather than a day after the first funded trade. We also added the new 5% of initial balance cap per request.
- WenCrypto, addition: Genesis (instant) and BNPL funded accounts need a 20% consistency score before each withdrawal; the BNPL evaluation has none.
- TradeXProp, addition: a 45% consistency score appears on the evaluation offer card; the crypto pages do not mention it.
- FundingPips, addition: Zero needs a 15% consistency score and seven profitable days before each reward; funded Master accounts used a 35% score (since revised on 21 October).
- AquaFunded, addition: no consistency rule on Instant Flex; Instant Pro uses 15% at payout, or 20% for accounts bought from 8 September 2026; other funded stages use 15% or 50% depending on model. None of these is a breach.
5 October 2026
A batch of first-time values, none of them a rule change.
- Daily reset: Goat Funded Trader resets at 5 pm New York time.
- Fee refunds: RebelsFunding pays a refund bonus with the first reward of 200% of the fee on Copper, 150% on Bronze and 100% on Silver; Gold has none and Diamond gets 100% after a successful Level 0.
- Splits: Goat Funded Trader 80% on 1-Step and 2-Step (100% with a paid add-on); AquaFunded 90% (100% with add-on); The5ers High Stakes 80% rising to 100%, Bootcamp 50% rising to 100%, Hyper Growth up to 100%; Mubite 80% to 90% on 2-Step and 1-Step, 70% on Instant (80% with add-on). We corrected RebelsFunding to 80% on Copper and Bronze and 75% on Silver, Gold and Diamond.
- Drawdown types: FundingPips 2-Step static, Zero trailing; Goat evaluations static; Funded Trader Markets 1-Step Nitro trailing until 6% up, 2-Step Plus static; RebelsFunding fixed 10% (6% on the level-based programme); BrightFunded 1-Step trailing until 6% up, 2-Step static; The5ers High Stakes and Hyper Growth static; FTMO 2-Step static, 1-Step end-of-day trailing; E8 One trails closed profit and locks at the start balance, E8 Pro static; Bitfunded static. We corrected AquaFunded: 1-Step Standard and Pro trail, 1-Step Flex is static (from 31 August 2026 purchases), 2-Step Standard, Elite and 3-Step are static, 2-Step Pro and all instant accounts trail. Our trailing vs static drawdown guide explains why this matters.

Mostly additions gathered while building our rules pages and lists.
- Stop-loss: not required at FundingPips, RebelsFunding, BrightFunded, Mubite, Goat Funded Trader, E8 Markets or FTMO. See our stop-loss rule guide.
- Per-trade loss caps: FundingPips' Responsible Trading Policy says the largest losing trade should stay within 1% of account size, a reviewed policy rather than an automatic breach. RebelsFunding funded (RCF) accounts carry a 1.5% maximum risk per trade, stop-loss or not. Mubite caps realized loss at 3% of the equity at entry, checked daily at 23:59 GMT+1.
- Consistency: BrightFunded enforces none.
- Crypto Fund Trader: the 1-Phase trails 6% from the high and locks at the starting balance once 6% up; Ascend bans new risk two minutes either side of high-impact news and market opens; each user is capped at $300,000 across 1-Phase and 2-Phase, with Instant limited to three accounts or $30,000; simulated profit is capped at $10,000 per day or trade; the daily loss reference is the balance at 12:05 AM UTC.
- Bitfunded: no minimum days and no inactivity rule; 0.04% fee to open and to close; two closed trades per payout period (three on Instant), each open at least ten minutes.
- HyroTrader (before the relaunch): manual reviews for all-or-nothing trading, with outcomes from a warning to account closure; a list of banned practices; funded exposure limits of 25% margin and 2x notional.
- RebelsFunding: crypto rollover between -7% and -15% annually, depending on symbol; five real trades per evaluation phase (since revised); open crypto positions can ride through the weekend, but you cannot open new ones until it ends. See weekend holding rules.
- FundingPips: two crypto CFDs, crypto accepted at checkout, 1:2 in evaluation and 1:1 on Master, 0.04% commission, USDT or USDC payouts on ERC20 only with a 1% of size minimum, and weekend rules that differ by model.
- FTMO: crypto CFDs are not news-restricted; FTMO US offers only BTCUSD; crypto payouts in BTC, ETH, LTC, USDC (ERC20) and USDT (TRC20), same-day if requested before noon CET; FTMO appears on the Reserve Bank of India alert list (entry 13, list of 19 November 2025). We also tightened the weekend rule wording to match FTMO's own text.
- The5ers: 3.5% withdrawal fee; crypto payouts up to $1,500 per transaction; crypto leverage 1:2 on High Stakes and 1:0.60 on Growth and Bootcamp.
- BrightFunded: 48 crypto pairs; first payout on day 30, then every two weeks; USDC on ERC-20.
- E8 Markets: E8 Pro targets 8% and 8%; payouts through partners only; Perps replaced the old crypto market, with fees of 0.045% and 0.015%.
- Goat Funded Trader: crypto payouts are capped at $3,000 each.
- Cointracts: the homepage advertises no KYC and payouts usually within three business days.
- Lists: free offers, TradingView support and crypto payment were filled in for every tracked firm to support our free accounts and crypto payment lists.
Do rule changes reach accounts you already own?
Usually the firm does not say. Only a handful address it in their terms:
- Locked at purchase: HyperPNL leaves an account on the rulebook that applied when it was bought, except platform-wide items such as leverage and listings. Propr keeps active funded accounts on the rules in force at activation unless it says otherwise, and publishes a changelog.
- Applies to existing accounts: Breakout said its August 2026 leverage change covered both evaluation and funded accounts, yet kept existing 2-step accounts on their original terms when that product was withdrawn, so it decides case by case and says which. Tradeify 247's terms say the rules in force at the time of trading govern that trading.
- Silent: every other firm we track, HyroTrader's relaunch included.
Retroactive edits are a real trust issue across the prop industry. In December 2025 one prop firm outside our coverage drew a sharp backlash for adding a one-minute minimum hold for scalpers and cutting splits on accounts traders already held, and by January 2026 it was reported to be winding down. A rule lock is worth more than a generous headline split.
Firm changes versus our corrections
A firm change means the firm published something new. A correction means we had recorded something the firm never said, or read an outdated page. Additions fill a blank field. Corrections are also shown as a dated note on the firm's page, and our corrections policy explains how they are reported and checked.
We re-check reviewed firms weekly and every tracked firm monthly. The evidence standard behind each entry is set out in our methodology. If you spot a change we have missed, tell us through the contact page.
Frequently asked questions
Which crypto prop firms made the biggest rule changes in October 2026?
The biggest moves came from HyroTrader (a full relaunch with a new Zero-Step model and static drawdown), Tradeify 247 (closed to new buyers on 21 October), FTMO (a new 1-Step consistency cap and an Instant Account), FundingPips (a 100% on-demand payout cycle and lower small-account prices), SizeProp (Speedrun replaced the 1-Step) and AquaFunded (two dedicated crypto challenges).
Do new rules apply to an account I already bought?
Most firms do not say. HyperPNL and Propr say an account stays on the rulebook that applied when it was bought or activated, with some exceptions. Breakout decides case by case and announces which. Everyone else is silent, so check your dashboard and the firm's current terms.
What is the difference between a firm change and a correction?
A firm change means the firm published a new value. A correction means our earlier record was wrong or incomplete while the firm's page stayed the same. Additions fill a field that was previously blank.
How often is this log updated?
Reviewed firms are re-checked every week and every tracked firm at least once a month. New entries go to the top of this page, and each month is moved to its own archive once it closes.
Where can I find older crypto prop firm rule changes?
Entries from September 2026 and earlier, including our first full pass over every tracked firm, are in the September 2026 archive at /changes/2026-09/.
