In October 2026, 25 of the 27 firms we track paid in crypto: 17 crypto-first firms and 8 multi-asset firms where crypto is one option, often capped or charged.
What "pays out in crypto" really covers
A crypto payout is your profit share sent as a stablecoin (usually USDT or USDC) or a coin such as BTC or ETH, on a named network, to a wallet you control. Four details decide whether it works for you:
- Currency: USDT and USDC dominate; Kraken Prop pays USD or USDG inside the exchange.
- Network: Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Arbitrum, TON, Base, BSC or Hyperliquid. It sets the fee and whether your wallet can receive.
- Fees: AquaFunded charges 3%, Funded Trader Markets 5% on crypto rewards, The5ers 3.5% per withdrawal.
- Caps: The5ers allows $1,500 per crypto transaction; Goat Funded Trader $3,000 per crypto payout; AquaFunded routes only amounts under $5,000 to crypto.
The steps from simulated profit to transfer are covered in how crypto prop firm payouts work.
Prop firms that pay out in crypto: the leaders
| Firm | Rail | Stated speed | Minimum | Proof |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HyperPNL | USDC by smart contract | Under 3 seconds | 1% of account | Contract and public reserve |
| Propr | USDC on chain | Within 24h; dashboard median 8m 16s | $20 | On-chain dashboard |
| Velotrade | USDC/USDT on Arbitrum | 24h after approval | $100 | Arbiscan link per payout |
| HyroTrader | USDT/USDC, several networks | Within 24 clock hours | $100 after split | Solana tx ID sample |
| Dolvero | USDT on TRC-20/ERC-20/BEP-20 | 2.1h average (firm figure) | n/p | Ledger with certificates |
| Breakout | USDC on Ethereum only | 12β24h approval | $50 after split | Leaderboard, no links |
| Upscale | USDT on TON, Base, BSC | Within 48h | $1 | Wallets in public feed |
A stated payout speed is the firm's own figure for approval or processing, not a measured time to your wallet.
One independent check exists: a journalist at The Industry Spread traced 449 recent Propr payouts at a median of about 37 minutes and a mean of 2.6 hours, slower than the dashboard median and faster than the rulebook's 24 hours.
Proof, from strongest to weakest
- Transaction link per payout: Velotrade.
- Sample of transaction IDs: HyroTrader publishes Solana payouts with Solscan links but not its Tron payouts, and traders can hide entries.
- Contract or dashboard: HyperPNL and Propr.
- Wallet feed: Upscale.
- Firm leaderboard or ledger: Breakout, Cointracts, Dolvero.
- Social posts: Fundedbit.
- Nothing: Kraken Prop (internal ledger), SizeProp and most of the rest.
Remember that a payout transaction proves money moved, not that the funded account traded real capital. HyroTrader's and Propr's own terms describe all accounts as simulated. See simulated vs real capital.
Firm notes
HyroTrader caps each request at 5% of the initial balance, and anything above is not paid; you must close all positions before requesting. Its transparency page reported $9.2 million paid since 2023 and 99.1% within 24 hours at 27 October 2026. Read the HyroTrader review.
Propr sweeps your entire profit on each payout and resets the balance, with no partial withdrawals. Read the Propr review.
Velotrade caps the first two payouts at 20 times the challenge fee and halts the account during review. Read the Velotrade review.
Breakout has one rail, USDC on Ethereum. Without an Ethereum wallet you cannot be paid. Read the Breakout review.
Checklist
- Match the payout network to a wallet you already use.
- Check processing fees and who pays gas.
- Check per-request caps and minimums ($1 at Upscale up to $150 at The5ers).
- Check the first-payout wait: on demand at HyroTrader, Breakout and Propr; 14β21 days at Velotrade, Upscale, Fundedbit and The5ers.
- Check when KYC applies: Upscale before the first withdrawal, Breakout before the funded account.
- Look at what proof the firm publishes, and verify one payout yourself on the block explorer.
Trade-offs and the indirect payers
Speed and proof rarely come together: HyperPNL is fast but caps accounts at $25,000, while Velotrade is verifiable but slow to the first payout. Kraken Prop pays into your Kraken wallet, which is convenient but leaves no on-chain trail. E8 Markets offers crypto only through Rise. If you need frequent access to profit, see our daily payout list; for chain-verifiable firms, see on-chain crypto prop firms; and estimate your take-home with the payout calculator.
Frequently asked questions
Which prop firm pays out in crypto the fastest?
HyperPNL states under three seconds by smart contract. Propr reports a dashboard median of 8 minutes 16 seconds. Both are firm-stated figures.
Which prop firms publish proof of crypto payouts?
Velotrade links every payout on Arbiscan, HyroTrader publishes a sample of Solana transaction IDs, and HyperPNL and Propr publish contract or dashboard data.
Do crypto payouts carry fees?
Some do: AquaFunded 3%, Funded Trader Markets 5% on crypto rewards, The5ers 3.5% per withdrawal. HyroTrader states no withdrawal fees.
Does Kraken Prop pay out in crypto?
It pays USD or USDG into your Kraken wallet by internal transfer, which is an exchange balance rather than an on-chain payout.
Does a crypto payout prove the firm uses real capital?
No. It proves a transfer happened. Most firms, including HyroTrader and Propr, state that funded accounts are simulated.
