This Bitfunded review starts with the question most buyers bring: is the firm still paying? Bitfunded is live, selling every plan and publishing its prices and drawdown limits, but the only payout record we can find is its own leaderboard. The rules are simple and the floor never trails, yet a lot of what you would want in writing, from the daily reset time to the country policy, is simply not published.
What Bitfunded is and who runs it
Bitfunded describes itself as a proprietary trading firm offering simulated challenges and says it has operated since 2023. The homepage and footer name no company. Only the terms of use identify the operator: Tronovix LTD, a limited liability firm in the United Arab Emirates, with disputes going to the RAK Arbitration Centre in Ras Al Khaimah.
Everything runs in what the firm itself calls a fully simulated environment. Even after you pass, you trade a "Live Simulated Account" on the same virtual capital. That is normal for the sector, and our guide to simulated vs real capital explains why, but it is worth knowing that no real market exposure is involved at any stage.
How the challenge works
Bitfunded sells four products on its own web and mobile platform:
- 2-step: 8% then 5% targets, 5% daily limit, 10% maximum in phase one tightening to 8% in phase two.
- 1-step: 10% target, 4% daily, 6% maximum.
- Instant: no target, 3% daily, 6% maximum, 60% split.
- Day Trader: a timed challenge of one to eight hours with an entry fee you pick between $50 and $400 and a 2x to 5x payout boost.
There are no minimum trading days and no time limit on the evaluations. All positions must be closed before you can move to the next stage. A 1-step Express plan with a 9% target and 3% limits still appears in the FAQ but is not sold on the pricing tabs.
The rules that matter most
Drawdown
The maximum drawdown is static. The FAQ describes it as a fixed percentage of the starting balance that does not move for the life of the challenge. On a $10,000 1-step, the floor sits at $9,400 and stays there even after you are $400 up, so you have $1,000 of headroom; a floor that followed the balance up would have left only $600. Our static drawdown list shows which other firms work this way.
What is missing is just as important: the firm does not say whether the daily limit is measured on balance or equity, nor when the trading day resets. On the Instant plan, the homepage table says 3% daily while the FAQ says 4%. We use the newer homepage figure. Model your worst case with the drawdown calculator.
Consistency, stop-loss, weekends and news
No consistency rule and no stop-loss requirement are published, but "not published" is not the same as "not enforced". The FAQ says there are no restrictions on trading style, and it confirms 24/7 trading with no weekend restriction. There is, however, a holding limit: positions must close within 10 days for major coins, 7 days for other crypto and 5 days for metals and TSLA. You also need at least two closed trades per payout period (three on Instant), each open for 10 minutes or more.
Leverage and costs
Leverage is 1:5 on more than 100 crypto pairs. A further 20-plus "TradFi" instruments are advertised. Trading costs 0.04% of position size to open and 0.04% to close, with no stated swap or funding charge.
Costs and value per $10K
| Size | 2-step | 1-step | Instant |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $79 | $99 | $249 |
| $10,000 | $99 | $149 | $449 |
| $50,000 | $399 | $499 | β |
| $100,000 | $799 | $999 | β |
Smaller tiers exist too: $2,500 Instant at $129, $15,000 at $149 or $199, and a $150,000 1-step at $1,399. Counting the fee plus one failed attempt, the $100K 2-step costs roughly $160 per $10,000 of funding, while the $10K Instant costs about $898. The 2-step is cheapest at every size and the only plan whose fee comes back. Our cheapest crypto prop firms list shows how that compares across the market.
Per $10,000 of funding, Instant runs roughly 4x to 5x the price of the 2-step, and you keep just 60%. Unless skipping the evaluation is worth that much to you, the 2-step is the better deal.
Payouts: speed, method, refund and proof
| Payout detail | Bitfunded |
|---|---|
| Split | 80% (60% on Instant) |
| Currency | USDT, network not published |
| Frequency | Up to 2 per 30 days; monthly after 10 payouts; monthly on Instant |
| Speed | Within 24 hours on working days (firm-stated) |
| Refund | 2-step fee returned with the third successful payout |
Identity verification kicks in once cumulative profit reaches $10,000. The refund wording differs between documents: the FAQ ties it to the third payout, while the refund policy refers to passing both phases and reaching the first profit split day.
Proof is the weak point. The homepage leaderboard shows three named traders with totals of $38,192, $16,678 and $15,809, but that is the firm's own statement, not a record of transfers. No payout tracker lists Bitfunded. On the other side, a ForexPeaceArmy complaint from 28 July 2026 alleges an approved withdrawal that never arrived. Trustpilot shows 4.3 from about 205 reviews for bitfunded.com; a separate profile for bitfundedtrader.com belongs to a different domain. We could not find any source for the "business is frozen" rumour that appears in searches. See how crypto prop firm payouts work for what good proof looks like.
Recent rule changes
No rule or price changed in October 2026. The last firm change came on 30 September 2026, when the timed Day Trader product was added and the 1-step Express was removed from sale. Checkout takes crypto (USDT on ERC-20, BEP-20 and TRC-20) and cards through unnamed payment partners, including an INR card option.
Who Bitfunded suits, and who should avoid it
It suits a trader who wants a static floor, no minimum days and a cheap 2-step entry, and who is comfortable with modest 1:5 leverage. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs certainty: the firm publishes no US policy, no restricted-country list and no reset time. Traders in India will find an INR card option at checkout, which is the only geographic signal on the site, but that is not the same as a written statement of who may hold a funded account. Before you buy, ask support to confirm your country in writing and keep the reply. If on-demand payouts and a named operator matter more, compare it directly in Bitfunded vs Breakout or look at the Breakout review.
Bitfunded review verdict
Bitfunded is an operating firm with clear drawdown rules and reasonable 2-step pricing, but it leaves too much unpublished and offers no payout evidence that anyone outside the firm can check. Treat it as a smaller, higher-uncertainty option. Our CryptoPropFirms score is 44 out of 100, near the bottom of the crypto-first group, mainly on cost and access.
Frequently asked questions
Is Bitfunded still paying out?
We found no confirmed recent payout outside the firm's own leaderboard, and no evidence that it has stopped. The site is live and selling every plan. One July 2026 complaint alleges an unpaid approved withdrawal.
Who owns Bitfunded?
Its terms of use name Tronovix LTD, a limited liability company in the United Arab Emirates. The homepage and footer do not name any entity.
Is Bitfunded drawdown static or trailing?
Static. The FAQ states the maximum drawdown is a fixed percentage of the starting balance that does not move during the challenge.
Does Bitfunded refund the challenge fee?
Only on the 2-step, returned with the third successful payout according to the FAQ. The refund policy words the condition differently, so confirm it with support.
What leverage does Bitfunded offer?
1:5 on more than 100 crypto pairs, on every plan.
