This PropW review covers the prop-trading product linked to the CoinW exchange. PropW sells one-step and two-step evaluations in USDT starting at $15, and pays out 80% of simulated profit into your CoinW account. The rules on drawdown are straightforward. The payout rules, the holding limit and a few contradictions between the firm's own pages are where most of the risk sits.
What PropW is and who runs it
PropW is not CoinW itself. The operator is PropW Innovations DMCC, registered in Dubai, which builds on CoinW's technology. CoinW handles the identity checks, fees can come out of a CoinW wallet, and rewards are credited to your CoinW asset account. PropW's Trustpilot description says it was launched by CoinW, but the contract you sign is with the DMCC company. PropW claimed its Trustpilot page in May 2024 and hosted a prop-trading hackathon in Kuala Lumpur five months later.
The funded stage is called a "Training Account" in a simulated training environment, and payouts are labelled scholarship rewards. One payout-proof page claims trades run on CoinW's real order books, but the rulebook and user agreement say simulated, and we follow those. HourTrader, a separate challenge lasting between one and eight hours, is outside the scope of this review.
How the PropW challenge works
| Plan | Target | Daily limit | Max floor | Sizes (USDT) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One-Step | 10% | 4% | 6% | 10,000–100,000 |
| Two-Step | 5%, then 10% | 5% | 10% (8% at 50K+) | 1,000–100,000 |
Each phase needs three profitable days, each above a minimum that scales with size, from 0.75% on the smallest account down to 0.2% at 100,000 USDT. There is no time limit except on the 1,000 USDT two-step, which has 15 days. All positions must be flat before review, which lasts one to three business days. No identity check is needed to buy or trade. Basic KYC happens before your first withdrawal, with higher CoinW verification tiers at 10,000 and 50,000 USDT of cumulative withdrawals.
The rules that matter most
Drawdown on a UTC+8 day
Both floors are measured on equity. The maximum floor is static, measured from the initial balance. The daily limit runs on a UTC+8 trading day, so it rolls over at 16:00 UTC. If you trade from Europe or the Americas, your daily allowance resets mid-afternoon or in the morning, not at midnight. Our daily drawdown guide covers offset reset times, and the drawdown calculator lets you test a plan.
The 10-day holding limit
The system shuts every position at market once it reaches 10 calendar days, counting weekends and holidays, on evaluation and funded accounts alike.
No other firm we track does this. Swing traders who hold for weeks should look elsewhere. Our weekend holding rules page lists firms with looser limits.
Consistency ratio
When you apply for a payout, your best single day must be no more than 40% (One-Step) or 45% (Two-Step) of the cycle's net profit. Going over doesn't end the account; you keep trading until the ratio falls. The rulebook gives a single 45% for both plans, while the withdrawal rules and the plan table set 40% for the One-Step, so plan for the stricter number. See consistency rules for how these ratios work.
What the rulebook does not say
PropW's rulebook does not address news trading, hedging, copy trading, bots or stop-losses. Instead of a per-trade loss cap it limits margin: BTC and ETH positions can use up to 50,000 USDT, other pairs 20,000 USDT, with 200,000 USDT overall, all at 5x. On the funded account, using 70% or more of your margin is treated as high-risk behaviour. Holding over weekends is allowed, subject to the 10-day limit and an internal funding rate that PropW does not publish.
Costs and value per $10K
List prices run from $15 for a 1,000 USDT Two-Step to $999 for a 100,000 USDT One-Step. There are no add-ons. Buy-one-get-one offers, cashback vouchers and discounts of 20–30% appeared again and again during 2026, so check before you pay.
| Size (USDT) | Two-Step per $10K | One-Step per $10K |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | $300 | n/a |
| 10,000 | $198 | $298 |
| 100,000 | $159.80 | $199.80 |
These figures include one reset. They look reasonable for small accounts, but the payout cap changes the picture. A 10,000 USDT One-Step can pay at most 1,000 USDT per request, so the target is also your withdrawal ceiling every 14 days. That is a big part of why PropW scores just 16 out of 100 on cost.
Payouts: speed, method and proof
PropW pays 80% as a scholarship allocation, credited in USDT to your CoinW asset account. The first request comes 14 days after the Training Account starts, and you can request once every 14 days after that. The minimum is now 1 USDT. Total withdrawals are unlimited, but no single request can exceed the plan's profit target. Reviews take 24 to 48 hours per the rulebook, or one to two business days per the withdrawal page. A homepage line promising payouts every seven days conflicts with the 14-day rulebook.
The rail is CoinW's internal ledger, so there is no transaction hash to check. The firm's payout-proof page claims about $1.6 million paid, a self-reported figure. Our payouts guide explains why that matters.
What changed in October 2026
By 13 October the withdrawal rules changed: the minimum fell from 100 to 1 USDT, total withdrawals became unlimited, and the whole challenge fee now comes back with your first successful withdrawal, even though the user agreement still calls fees non-refundable at purchase. Per-position margin limits in evaluation went up, to 50,000 USDT for BTC and ETH and 20,000 USDT for the rest. ZEC, HYPE, ENA and NEAR were announced for the evaluation from 27 October. All entries are in our rule changes log.
Who PropW suits, and who should avoid it
It suits small-account traders who want the cheapest possible entry, existing CoinW users, and short-term traders who never hold for more than a few days.
Avoid it if you live in the US, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, the Netherlands or another listed jurisdiction; if you swing trade; or if you want to withdraw a large month in one go. Trustpilot reviews also describe a 2025 rule change that forced traders who had already passed Phase 1 to sit it again. Kraken Prop is the closest exchange-run alternative, without a consistency rule or a payout cap.
PropW review verdict
Our PropW review scores it 50 out of 100. Static floors and a cheap entry price count in its favour, and the October fee refund helps. Against that, the 10-day force-close, the per-request payout cap, the 14-day cycle and the contradictions between its own documents make it hard to recommend over better-structured firms. Treat it as a low-cost trial of prop trading rather than a long-term home.
Frequently asked questions
Is PropW the same as CoinW?
No. PropW is run by PropW Innovations DMCC, a separate Dubai company that uses CoinW infrastructure for identity checks, fee payments and payouts.
Is PropW legit?
It is an operating firm: it names its company, publishes its rulebook, and some Trustpilot reviewers describe receiving withdrawals. Its own pages contradict one another about where trades execute and how often payouts happen, and its Trustpilot rating is 3.4.
How often does PropW pay out?
Once every 14 days, starting 14 days after the funded Training Account begins. No request can be larger than the plan's profit target, and rewards arrive in USDT in your CoinW account.
Can I hold trades over the weekend at PropW?
Yes, but the system closes every position automatically after 10 calendar days, funded accounts included.
Does PropW accept US traders?
No. Its restricted list names the United States, plus Pakistan, Canada, Hong Kong, mainland China and others.
